I was fortunate to travel to Slovenia which is so awesomely beautiful with its mountains and sylvan surroundings. This video is from one of the evenings I spent in Ljubljana, the vibrant and beautiful capital city of Slovenia. I would love to visit Slovenia again.

Sharing a short clipping of the shondhi pujo. It was close to midnight, the sound of dhaks combined with the ambience made this such an unique and spiritual experience. It is believed that this is the time when Ma Durga killed the demons Chanda and Munda.

This is a very brief video of Lake Naivasha in Kenya. This beautiful lake has a variety of birds....and one can spot Hippos in the lake; Giraffes and Zebras can be seen around the area as well...worth a visit for sure!

We visited a Masai village during our stay at Masai Mara.Men and women took turns and greeted us with traditional Masai dance. This video has a short clipping of the Masai women singing and dancing. It was a beautiful experience, Masai and their way of life.

During our Masai Mara trip, we visited a Masai village. They charged around $30 for the visit. We were told that the proceeds from the fee goes towards the school village and we were allowed to take as many photos and videos. We spent about less than an hour in the village...we were welcomed by Masai men and women with their traditional dances, which was wonderful. We also got a tour of the hut...

Masai Mara was always a dream for me...when we finally managed to make it to Masai Mara....it was even more dream like! This Cheetah was our first sighting...first day ...first show...it was so close to our vehicle...awesome experience.

Here is a beautiful Baul song video from the Baul Fakir Utsav 2019 at Shaktigarh, Jadavpur, Kolkata. Baul songs are folk songs from Bengal that have an influence of Vaishnav Hindu and Sufi songs. Spiritual and sung with so much passion and simplicity, that every time I hear these songs I feel overwhelmed.
